The New Millenia is a podcast for anyone who’s starting to feel like they might understand why Carrie Bradshaw never had her shit together. Hosted by Millenia (born in 2000, new to adulthood, and 100% over pretending to have it together), this show is all about navigating the chaos of work, dating, friendships, mental health, and everything else we were “supposed” to know by now—but definitely don’t. In this episode, I spill all the tea on attending Damon Dominique’s workshop in Austin—how his advice shook me to my core, made me realize fear was running my life, and ultimately led me to shave my head. Spoiler: It’s been one of the most healing, freeing things I’ve ever done.
I talk about my takeaways as a freshly bald baddie, the power of surrounding yourself with people who push you to just go for it, and why having a community like that is everything.
